Position Overview

MedStar Women's Health is seeking a qualified Women's Wellness Nurse Practitioner to join our regional service line at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.

Minimal Qualifications

Education

• Master's degree graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the Maryland State and/or DC Board Examiners of Nurses

Experience

• 1-2 years as a nurse practitioner; may require additional experience in specialty; ideal candidate is a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or a Nurse Practitioner with extensive women’s health experience

Licenses and Certifications

• NP – Licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia (or any combination based on work location)
• CPR – Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) from AHA or American Red Cross within 90 days
• Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Verbal and written communication skills; good problem-solving and independent judgment; basic computer skills preferred

Compensation

USD $115,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 per year.
