DiscoverU Health is launching a concierge-style women’s health practice in the DMV area and seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for a contract-based, per diem role. The WHNP will provide comprehensive gynecological care, reproductive health counseling, and personalized care plans while supporting preventive wellness for members.

Eligible candidates hold a WHNP license in DC, MD, or VA, with liability insurance and strong communication, advocacy, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active WHNP license in DC, MD, or VA.
• Credentialed with major insurance providers strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of women’s health experience preferred.
• Must carry professional liability insurance.
• Warm, compassionate bedside manner with patient‑centered care.
• Strong communication, advocacy, follow‑up, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a small, mission‑driven team.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine gynecological care, annual exams, and preventive screenings.
• Offer reproductive and sexual health services, including birth control counseling, fertility support, and menopause management.
• Develop personalized care plans that align with each member’s lifestyle and goals.
• Educate members on preventive health, wellness, and self-care.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with other care team members when needed.
• Maintain thorough, up‑to‑date patient records.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to continually strengthen the member experience.

Based and Licensed in: DMV Area (D.C., Maryland, or Virginia).

Job Type: Contract-based, Per Diem.

Pay Rate: $60-$75/hr.

As we prepare to launch this fall, we’re looking for caring Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNP) to join us in bringing this vision to life. This is a per diem role with the potential to grow into part-time or full-time as our membership grows.

Role Overview:

As a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) with DiscoverU Health, you’ll deliver comprehensive, personalized care — from routine gynecological exams to reproductive health counseling — helping members navigate every season of their health journey with confidence and care.
