Unified Women’s Healthcare in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Full Time Experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join Capital Women’s Care Division 73.

You will perform exams, prescribe medications, provide prenatal and family planning care, and work with physicians to deliver patient-centered care.

Eligible candidates must hold NP certification with MD licensure, DEA license, CPR/BLS/NALS, and have strong clinical judgement; 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified NP with Maryland licensure and DEA permit.
• Active, unrestricted licensure in Maryland.
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain.
• CPR, BLS, and NALS certifications or ability to obtain.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Effective communication with patients and care team.
• Ability to make independent clinical decisions.
• 1 year of full-time NP experience preferred.

Position Highlights

• Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
• Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures
• Provide pre and post‑natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling
• Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care
• Fully licensed medical team and support staff

Requirements

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
• One year of full‑time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
