CHC Addiction Services in Akron, OH seeks a Women’s Treatment Counselor to join our Residential Team. You will provide individual and group counseling, assess patients and families, and coordinate treatment plans. The role emphasizes clinical supervision, documentation, and collaboration with CHC services and the community.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree and an active Ohio license to counsel (LPC/LPCC/LSW/LISW/LCDC III/LICDC). Experience with substance use treatment is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree required for eligibility.
• Active Ohio license to counsel (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LCDC III, LICDC) is required.
• Preferably at least 1 year of clinical experience treating substance use disorders.

• Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling to assigned cases.
• Complete thorough documentation of each step of treatment.
• Present patient cases in weekly supervisory meetings and seek consultation as needed.
