Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission in Austin, TX seeks a Program Specialist V to oversee substance use treatment services and support pregnant and parenting women. You will provide expert guidance, coordinate reviews, and work with contracted providers to maintain service quality.

The role requires collaboration with multiple internal units, development of reports on program performance, and adherence to SITP and HHSC policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field.
• Experience in behavioral health services preferred.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced guidance and technical assistance in SITP-related operations.
• Coordinate provider documentation reviews and site visits; monitor performance and outcomes.
• Develop reports reflecting clinical services, expenditures, and service quality.
