True Religion is seeking an Assistant Designer for Women’s Sportswear in El Segundo. You will support the design team from concept through sample review, producing CADs, colorways, and tech packs while keeping development on schedule.

Responsibilities include creating accurate technical flats in Illustrator/Photoshop, maintaining up-to-date tech packs, and aligning linesheets with approved direction for cross-functional partners. A Fashion Design degree and strong CAD skills are required.

Formación

• Degree in Fashion Design or related field, or equivalent training and experience.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Outlook.
• Strong CAD sketching and technical flat drawing skills with accurate illustration of proportions.
• Foundational knowledge of pattern drafting and garment construction.
• Portfolio showing women’s apparel CADs and construction understanding.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to follow direction, incorporate feedback, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication and collaborative approach; internship/entry-level experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support Designers in developing women’s sportswear from concept to sample review, keeping workstreams on schedule.
• Create and revise tech packs, CADs, colorways, and presentation materials in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Prepare up-to-date tech packs with design details, callouts, artwork, and BOMs.
• Keep linesheets and files aligned with approved direction for cross-functional teams.
• Conduct market and trend research for silhouettes, fabrics, colors, trims, and garment details.
• Prepare materials for design reviews, fittings, and cross-functional meetings.
• Attend fittings, document comments, and update sketches and tech packs with pattern and garment construction input.
• Collaborate with graphics team to integrate artwork into CADs and development materials.
• Organize samples, swatches, trims, reference garments, and digital files.
• Track tasks and progress, communicate updates, and flag delays proactively.
