Job summary

Capelli Sport is seeking an Apparel Design Assistant to support the design team in developing new products across multiple sports categories. This role emphasizes growth, organization, and collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with CAD, tech packs, line sheets, and trend research, working closely with the Design Director to contribute ideas for women’s, men’s and youth designs. A strong eye for detail and proactive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and PLM.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow.
• Flexible and agile learner in a changing business environment.
• Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator is a plus and helpful.
• Interest in Fitness and Sports is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Design team in day-to-day creative projects and keep files organized.
• Assist in new projects, CAD and tech pack revisions, and line sheets.
• Collaborate with the Design Director on seasonal women’s, men’s and youth designs while bringing new ideas.
• Research trends and present results in formats for creative direction.
• Apply trend results to fresh designs and capsules for mass-market products.
• Create development tech packs and BOMs in PLM and track through production.
• Coordinate with vendors, factories and freelance designers.
• Create and maintain seasonal WIP reports for internal and external insights.
