Job description

Under the direction of the manager or designee, supports the functions of the unit/area by performing receptionist and clerical duties. This is a 12-hour, 3rd shift position, working from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am.

  1. Maintains the medical record in good order.
  2. Handles appointment scheduling for patients.
  3. Maintains current knowledge; adheres to Access policies and procedures; performs problem-solving.
  4. Performs registration/check-in functions.
  5. Communicates effectively using established systems and protocols.
  6. Communicates effectively with ancillary departments.
  7. Maintains unit supplies and forms appropriately.
  8. Assumes responsibility for personal professional development and contributes to the professional development of others.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $15.68 - $24.30 hourly.

Minimum Requirements
  1. Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
  2. Experience: No experience required.
  3. Preferred: Scheduling, front desk, or Access Associate training.
  4. Licensure: None required.
Physical Demands

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail; ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull less than 20 lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases.
