Job description

Job Description: Receptionist/Clerical Support (3rd Shift)

Under the direction of the manager or designee, supports the functions of the unit/area by performing receptionist and clerical duties. This is a 12-hour 3rd shift position, hours: 7pm - 7:30am.

  1. Maintains the medical record in good form.
  2. Handles appointment scheduling of patients.
  3. Maintains current knowledge; adheres to Access policies and procedures; performs problem-solving.
  4. Performs registration/check-in functions.
  5. Communicates effectively using established systems/protocols.
  6. Communicates effectively with ancillary departments.
  7. Maintains unit supplies/forms appropriately.
  8. Assumes responsibility for professional development of self and contributes to and assists with the professional development of others.
  9. Other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $15.68 - $24.30 hourly.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent

Experience: No experience required

Preferred: Scheduling, Front Desk, or Access Associate training

Licensure: None required

Physical Demands

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail; ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull <20 lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases.
