Job summary

A community hospital in Virginia is seeking a Women's Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) PRN. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and educate patients and families. The ideal candidate should have a current RN license in Virginia, BLS certification, and at least two years' experience in key areas such as Labor and Delivery or NICU. Qualifications

• Must have night shift availability.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in Virginia or compact license.

• At least two years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, OB/GYN Antepartum and/or NICU.

Job Summary and Qualifications

At Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, our Women’s Float Pool RN provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the hospital. While providing clinical and administrative support on the unit, you will also be responsible for performing and assessing plans and evaluates patient care needs. We are an amazing, hardworking team who is looking for a phenomenal addition like you!

• Analyzing pertinent data, communicating findings and documenting information
• As a Float Pool nurse, you will administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs
• You will instruct and educate patients and families
• Our float pool consists of NICU, Labor & Delivery, Mother/Infant and OB/GYN Antepartum

Qualifications

• Must have night shift availability
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
• Current BLS certification
• Required: At least two or more years of experience in at least two of the following focus areas: Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, OB/GYN Antepartum and/or NICU
