Job summary

Assumption University seeks a driven leader to direct all phases of the Women’s Flag Football program and to support daily athletics operations. The role requires ensuring policy compliance, student-athlete development, and engagement with alumni and donors.

Primary oversight includes budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with senior athletics staff to promote academic success and competitive performance while upholding university values and Title IX guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must contribute actively to the university mission and Assumption identity.
• University coaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication, public relations, management and leadership skills.
• Interpersonal skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
• Current first aid, CPR and AED certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and meeting Assumption University Driver qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of the Women’s Flag Football program.
• Ensures compliance with university, NE10 and USA Football policies.
• Promotes an atmosphere of compliance among staff and athletes.
• Oversees retention and graduation of student-athletes and coordinates with athletics leadership.
• Manages sports budget, recruiting and work-study.
• Schedules and conducts practices per university guidelines.
• Coordinates alumni outreach and fundraising with the athletics director.
