Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Nurse Coordinator (RN) for Women’s Care. This full-time day role offers Monday-Friday hours with no weekends, and room for growth in a supportive team.

You will assess patients, initiate nursing interventions, document care, and manage the interdisciplinary care plan for gynecologic and prenatal services. AHA BLS is required within 30 days; ACLS/PALS within six months; one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina or compact state RN license
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
• AHA Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
• AHA ACLS and PALS within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred
• Ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
