Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years coaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills in one-on-one, small groups, and public speaking.
• Ability to promote teamwork and prioritize effectively.
• Demonstrated strategic planning and assessment of team strengths/weaknesses.
• Experience making strategic recommendations to improve performance.
• Flexible and irregular work schedule.
• Strong Christian faith and commitment to integrating Scripture in coaching.
• Commitment to Regent’s values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist student-athletes in spiritual growth and academic progress.
• Instruct student-athletes in sport-specific skills, tactics, and individualized workouts.
• Report NCAA/university rule violations promptly to the Director of Athletics.
• Organize and supervise practices, games, and workouts for the team.
• Adhere to NCAA and university rules and interpretations.
• Assist in recruiting mission-fit, academically solid, athletically skilled athletes.
• Promote community service projects for the team.
• Assume other duties as assigned by Head Coach or Director of Athletics.
