Job summary

The University of Tampa Athletic Department is seeking a Part-time Women's Assistant Beach Volleyball Coach to support the head coach in developing a nationally competitive program. Responsibilities include practice coaching, coordinating travel logistics, budget assistance, academic development of student athletes, scheduling, fundraising, and contributing to a diverse, inclusive team culture.

The position requires a bachelor's degree preferred, knowledge of NCAA rules, willingness to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulation
• Knowledge of all aspects of coaching
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn The University of Tampa software programs such as Workday and Microsoft Office
• Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices

Responsibilities

• Practice preparation and coaching
• Coordinating team and recruiting travel and logistics
• Assist with operating budget expenditures
• Academic development of student athletes
• Assist with scheduling practices and contests
• Assist with fundraising activities
• Other duties as assigned by the head coach
• Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds
