Job summary

A regional higher education institution in Charleston seeks a Women's Basketball Assistant Coach to assist the Head Coach in instructing athletes and ensuring compliance with NCAA standards. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and three years of collegiate coaching experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years of collegiate coaching experience (preferably Division I).
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations for women’s basketball.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Women’s Basketball Head Coach in instructing athletes.
• Coach and develop an assigned position group, focusing on fundamentals.
• Perform recruiting activities and responsibilities as assigned by Head Coach.
• Support academic progress of student-athletes.
• Enforce all academic guidelines and policies.
