Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Night RN for the Women-Children Float Pool in New Jersey. The role involves assessing patients, planning and delivering nursing care, and coordinating with the care team to meet regulatory standards.

Requirements include NJ RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and NRP with orientation. A BSN is preferred or must be obtained within three years. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the state of New Jersey.
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire date.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Part I and Part II certifications required or obtained during orientation.
• ECG course completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assess the health status of assigned patients as outlined in Nursing Standards.
• Plan, implement and evaluate individualized care based on patient assessment and multidisciplinary plan.
• Provide direct patient care or supervision to health team members to ensure proper care per NJ Board of Nursing and ANA guidelines.
• Teach patients and families about health and plan of care.
• Prepare patients for discharge and home health maintenance.
