Job summary

RWS is seeking AI Conversation Recording Contributors for a Wolof (Senegal) speech data collection project. This freelance, remote role offers flexible, task-based work (roughly 2–4 hours daily) with immediate start.

You will record spontaneous speech, annotate data, and provide metadata to support evaluation and development of next-gen AI technologies. Prior recording/annotation experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Wolof (Senegal).
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech per project guidelines.
• Capture speech from approved real-life situations (workplace, casual talks).
• Complete individual or two-person conversational speech tasks with AI systems.
• Annotate collected speech data according to provided instructions.
• Provide metadata and recording information for each submission.
