The ideal candidate holds an active South Carolina RN license, CWOCN certification, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days, with 3–5 years of nursing experience and strong wound management expertise.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing with the South Carolina State Board of Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Wound, Ostomy & Continence Nursing Education Program.
• CWOCN certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 3–5 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of complex wound management, ostomy care, and continence programs.

Responsibilities

• Act as a clinical expert and educator in wound, ostomy, and continence care
• Support the healthcare staff in developing and implementing individualized care plans
• Provide hands-on care for patients with complex wound or ostomy needs
• Consult on best practices and evidence-based protocols for skin integrity and wound prevention
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, education sessions, and patient discharge planning
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines
