Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT is seeking a WOC Nurse Leader to guide clinical support, consultation and education for wound, ostomy and continence care. The role requires a bachelor’s in nursing, CT RN license, and board certification in WOC; a master’s in nursing or APRN and CT APRN license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• CT RN License required.
• Board Certified in Wound, Ostomy and Continence.
• Masters in Nursing or APRN preferred.
• CT APRN License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support, consultation and education for wound and ostomy patients.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to improve quality of care.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff.
• Incorporate patient-specific needs into planning and provision of care.

Education

Bachelor degree in nursing
