Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a CT RN license and be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Certification in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Care/Enterostomal Therapy Nursing is required.
• BSN is required; MSN preferred.
• ACLS certification by hire or within orientation period.
• WOCN certification strongly preferred; 2–3 years of progressive clinical experience in medical/surgical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound, ostomy, continence care and related education across the organization.
• Serve as a resource to patients, staff, physicians, and management.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for wounds, ostomies, and incontinence.
