Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Warehouse - Mid-Shift worker to support receipt and shipping of materials, ensuring items are stowed or shipped per customer requirements. The role may involve using anti-static devices and requires compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will read specifications, operate equipment, and prepare labels while maintaining accurate data in automated systems. Candidates must obtain a material handling license within 30 days and complete inert certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) months general work experience.
• Must obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection.
• Must successfully complete Inert Certification training requirements.
• Position may require travel and security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, examines, classifies, accepts, rejects, and disposes of material per regulations.
• Read specifications and photographs as required in DLA contract; read blueprints/schematics under mentoring.
• Load material on/off skids, pallets, stands; prepare labels; input data to automated systems.
• Operate material handling equipment as assigned and hold appropriate license.
• Perform basic reports and maintain records of receiving/shipping activities.
