Job summary

On-Demand Group seeks a WMS Implementation Readiness Lead for a remote contract to drive a Manhattan Active deployment. You will coordinate planning, testing, and governance to ensure readiness across teams and stakeholders, delivering a smooth, on-time implementation.

You will review SOWs, develop executive dashboards, and manage vendor negotiations while guiding cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of enterprise software implementation experience, 5+ years in WMS programs,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software implementation experience.
• 5+ years leading WMS programs.
• Proven Manhattan WMS / Manhattan Active expertise.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating SOWs.
• Experience managing ERP and supply chain deployments.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and prepare executive updates and vendor negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and challenge implementation scopes, Statements of Work, and project plans to mitigate risks and clarify responsibilities.
• Develop independent assessments of implementation strategies, timelines, and resource needs, creating dashboards and risk assessments for executive visibility.
• Collaborate with Manhattan Associates and internal teams to ensure readiness, including environment architecture, testing, and integration planning.
• Facilitate workshops, lead governance activities, and prepare communication materials for senior leadership.
• Define staffing, organizational, and vendor sourcing strategies, identifying capability gaps and mitigation plans.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, and risks, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and motivated to deliver on schedule.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software implementation experience, with 5+ years leading Warehouse Management System (WMS) programs.
• Proven expertise with Manhattan WMS implementations, preferably Manhattan Active Warehouse Management.
• Strong background in reviewing and negotiating implementation SOWs.
• Experience managing large-scale ERP and supply chain application deployments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, prepare executive updates, and facilitate vendor negotiations.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Previous Manhattan Active WMS leadership experience.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP integration and automated warehouse systems.
• PMP certification or supply chain consulting background.
• Experience in regulated environments like pharmaceuticals or medical devices.

The projected hourly range for this position is $80 to $90.
