WMS Consultant (End-to-End Functional Consultant – Manhattan WMOS)

Location: Spartanburg, SC (Hybrid – Onsite as needed) Accepting Candidates From: Greenville, SC; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; or nearby cities within ~2 hours’ drive. Also open for candidates who are willing to relocate on their own.

We are seeking a WMS End-to-End Functional Consultant (Manhattan WMOS) to join our growing supply chain technology team. In this role, you will work directly with clients to analyze, design, configure, and optimize end-to-end warehouse operations using the Manhattan WMOS platform. You will bridge the gap between business operations and technical implementation — ensuring solutions deliver measurable operational efficiency and business value.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End WMS Process Design & Implementation

  Lead workshops to gather functional and business requirements across warehouse operations (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, Labor, and Yard).

  Design and implement end-to-end solutions leveraging Manhattan WMOS functionality.

  Support configuration, data setup, system integration, and go-live readiness.

• Functional Consulting & Solution Mapping

  Translate business needs into WMOS functional requirements and configuration specifications.

  Develop functional documentation, test cases, and process flow maps.

  Collaborate with technical teams to ensure configurations align with business goals.

• System Validation, Testing & Go-Live Support

  Drive UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with key business stakeholders.

  Support data migration, cutover planning, and hyper‑care post go‑live.

  Identify and resolve functional issues and process gaps.

  Recommend process improvements and system enhancements based on warehouse KPIs and operational data.

  Stay current with new WMOS releases and features to drive continuous value.

• Training & Stakeholder Enablement

  Conduct end‑user and super‑user training sessions.

  Prepare detailed SOPs, training materials, and functional guides.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in warehouse management systems (WMS), with at least 5+ years in Manhattan WMOS (Functional role).
• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end WMS implementations — from requirements through post‑go‑live support.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations, including inventory control, receiving, picking, shipping, and labor management.
• Excellent skills in requirements gathering, solution design, UAT coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical mindset.
• Ability to travel to client sites in Spartanburg, SC, or nearby locations as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail, e‑commerce, 3PL, or consumer goods warehouse environments.
• Exposure to integration with OMS, TMS, or ERP systems.
• Experience in Manhattan Active WM is a plus.
