Job summary

New Mexico Department of Health is seeking staff for a medically assisted withdrawal management and residential treatment program in Northern New Mexico. You will provide direct patient care, assist with admissions, discharge planning, and coordinate with a clinical team to support clients through recovery.

The role involves shift-based patient care, documentation, and collaboration with nurses and aides to ensure safe, effective treatment and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and one year of related experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience totaling one year may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission process including obtaining vitals, documentation, case management and discharge planning.
• Provide structured patient care and accurate shift change information with accompanying documentation.
• Coordinate with Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and support staff to meet daily client needs.
• Uphold safety-sensitive responsibilities and comply with background checks and HIPAA requirements.
