Santa Fe Recovery is seeking a Residential Services Associate to join our multidisciplinary detox and residential care team. You will assist with admissions, support clients, document in the electronic health record, and help implement the plan of care with empathy and professionalism.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience in customer service or patient/client care facing.
• Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) within one year of employment with SFRC.
• CPR Certification.
• Valid and insurable Driver’s License.

Mansioni

• Assist with admission and orientation of new clients to the facility, including Rules of Residency and Health and Safety requirements
• Ensure a safe, quiet and supportive environment
• Observe client behavioral and emotional patterns and report/document observations
• Using motivational interviewing and active listening to support clients recovering from drug/alcohol dependence
• Intervene with de-escalation skills when necessary
• Work with the Clinical Team to ensure clients are working on their treatment plan goals
• Conduct assessments as assigned by Clinical Team
• Support the team with various administrative tasks
• Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary care environment members to ensure quality treatment
• Review instructions and supervisor updates for each client’s program, interpreting data and responding to program communication
• Provide clients with emotional and/or behavioral support and assist in developing coping strategies
• Anticipate and respond to client needs, including crisis intervention
• Assist in emergency situations following protocols including CPR if necessary
• Document incidents per SFRC policies
• Ensure clients follow the program schedule
• Continue professional development with courses and workshops
• Provide emotional support and foster a compassionate environment
• Facilitate groups for clients and document group notes
• Document group notes for non-clinical groups in the EHR
• Transport clients to appointments
• Check in visitors warmly and timely
• Conduct BAC, Urine Drug Screens, daily charting, bedroom checks
• Participate in shift-change to share client information
• Monitor client chores and linens and supplies
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2
• Coordinate program reviews, surveys, site visits, and evaluations
• Work with Supervisor to facilitate recreational and social activities
• Engage patients to achieve treatment goals
• Demonstrate urgency for patient safety and excellent customer service
• Behavioral Health Associates may assist with children under Mothers in residential treatment policy
• Other duties as assigned.
