Vertiv in Anderson, SC is seeking a Wiring Technician - Switchgear to join our manufacturing team. You will wire electrical components for switchgear systems based on schematics and engineering drawings, helping deliver reliable power solutions.

Qualifications

Experience in electrical wiring, panel building, or switchgear assembly.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Familiar with wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, and hand/power tools.
Commitment to accuracy and quality.
Knowledge of OSHA and NEC safety standards.
Able to work independently or with others in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

Wiring & assembly of switchgear components per detailed schematics and drawings.
Mount relays, circuit breakers, switches, busbars in enclosures using hand/power tools.
Route, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and cables accurately.
Self-inspections to ensure quality, safety, and code compliance.
Assist in functional testing and troubleshoot wiring issues.
Follow work instructions and document completed wiring tasks.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
