Job summary

Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a dedicated Wiring Technician to join our team. You will drill holes, install low-voltage wiring, assemble and test control panels in line with engineered drawings and NEC code.

Responsibilities include wiring, mounting components, routing and labeling cables, and ensuring reliable operation of panels for customer projects. Must read schematics, work safely, and pass background checks as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two+ years of wiring electrical panels.
• Ability to read schematics and wire schedules.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reference shop prints to determine installation locations per NEC code.
• Install wire ways, conduits, cable trays, and ground electrical equipment.
• Install gear, SWGR, VFDs, ATS, DCS systems, transformers, PLC cabinets per drawings.
• Crimp lugs and connect wiring per prints and single-line drawings.
• Assemble and install electrical components in frames or panels.
• Route and label cables, ensure safe, compliant wiring.
• Inspect and test completed panels for safety and functionality.
