Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Wiring Technician to assemble electrical cabinets by interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams. The role involves reading schematics, cutting and forming wires, installing components, and completing point-to-point wiring with crimps, while ensuring QC standards.

The schedule runs Monday-Thursday, 6PM-4:30AM, with a base pay of $24/hr plus a $2/hr second shift differential. Candidates should have wiring/electrical experience and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics/drawings for installations according to wiring specs (AC/DC).
• Cut, strip, bend, and form wire cable, conduit, pope, and tubing to connect circuits and subassemblies.
• Install components to build cabinets.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and use crimps connectors.
• Discuss diagram or production order issues with supervisor/engineer to clarify assembly problems.
• Perform assembly functions per QC procedures to meet standards.
• Quality and neatness of work are essential.
• Be flexible to learn and work across multiple wiring stations.

GE Vernova is looking for Wiring Technicians who can apply knowledge of electricity by reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and machine prints to assemble cabinets.

Job Description

Schedule: Monday-Thursday working 6PM-4:30AM

• Ability to read electrical schematics/drawings for electrical installations according to wiring specifications. AC/DC
• Cuts, strips, bends, and forms wire cable, conduit pope, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies.
• Installation of components to build the cabinet
• Point to point wiring and using crimps connectors to wire ends
• Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
• Performs assembly functions in accordance with Quality Control Procedures to ensure the output will meet QC and customer standards.
• Quality and neatness of work are essential
• Flexibility to learn and work within several different wiring functions/stations

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is $24/hr. This role is eligible for an additional $2/hr second shift differential.
