Job summary

GE Vernova's Grid Solutions division is seeking an assembler to unpack, inspect, and assemble breakers per drawings and customer specifications. You will ensure all parts are complete and prepared for testing and shipment, while documenting the work performed and maintaining QC standards.

Expect to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed. The role participates in clean-up and related duties, with comprehensive benefits and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Requires high reliability; ability and willingness to work overtime, flexible shifts and weekends.
• Experience in assembly/manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks parts and inspects each one for proper functioning and completeness.
• Assembles breakers to standard drawings and customer specifications or prepares breakers for shipment; cleans and preps tanks and sub-assemblies for downstream assembly.
• Discusses diagram or production order errors with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly issues.
• Performs assembly functions per Quality Control Procedures to meet QC and customer standards.
• Inspects own work to ensure breakers are properly assembled, vacuumed, pre-filled, and ready to test and ship.
• Documents work by filling out forms (labor, QCRs, etc.).
• Cleans work area at shift end.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Documents work performed by filling out proper forms (labor, QCR’s, etc.).
• Cleans work area at the end of the shift.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
