Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking Wiring Technicians to apply electrical knowledge by reading blueprints, electrical drawings, and machine prints to assemble cabinets. Candidates should be able to read electrical schematics, cut and shape wires, and perform assembly across multiple wiring stations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics/drawings for installations (AC/DC).
• Cut, strip, bend, and form wires, conduit, and tubing.
• Assemble cabinet components and perform point-to-point wiring.
• Discuss and resolve assembly issues with supervisor or engineer.
• Follow quality procedures to meet QC and customer standards.
• Maintain neat and accurate workmanship across stations.

Job Description

• Ability to read electrical schematics/drawings for electrical installations according to wiring specifications. AC/DC
• Cuts, strips, bends, and forms wire cable, conduit pope, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies.
• Installation of components to build the cabinet
• Point to point wiring and using crimps connectors to wire ends
• Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
• Performs assembly functions in accordance with Quality Control Procedures to ensure the output will meet QC and customer standards.
• Quality and neatness of work are essential
• Flexibility to learn and work within several different wiring functions/stations
