Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking Wiring Technicians to read electrical schematics and blueprints to assemble cabinets. You will cut, strip, bend, and form wire cable, conduit pope, and tubing to connect circuits and subassemblies, install components, and perform point-to-point wiring with crimps connectors.

As part of the assembly team, you will ensure quality and neatness of work, and have the flexibility to learn and work across different wiring functions and stations, including weekend shifts when

Qualifications

• High reliability.
• Flexible and able to work weekends when business need dictates.
• Some experience in wiring/electrical or motor control wiring.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics/drawings for electrical installations according to wiring specifications. AC/DC.
• Cut, strip, bend, and form wire cable, conduit pipe, and tubing to connect circuits and subassemblies.
• Install components to build the cabinet.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and use crimps to wire ends.
• Discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
• Perform assembly functions to meet QC and customer standards.
• Maintain quality and neatness of work.
• Learn and work across multiple wiring functions and stations.
