Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking Wiring Technicians to apply knowledge of electricity by reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and machine prints to assemble cabinets.

You will read electrical schematics, cut and form wires, install components, and perform point-to-point wiring. The role requires attention to quality and adaptability across multiple wiring stations.

Qualifications

• Read electrical schematics/drawings for installations according to wiring specifications.
• Experience with wiring/electrical or motor control wiring is preferred.
• Ability to maintain quality and neatness in wiring tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics/drawings for electrical installations according to wiring specifications. AC/DC.
• Cuts, strips, bends, and forms wire cable, conduit pope, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies.
• Installation of components to build the cabinet
• Point to point wiring and using crimps connectors to wire ends
• Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
• Performs assembly functions in accordance with Quality Control Procedures to ensure the output will meet QC and customer standards.
• Quality and neatness of work are essential
• Flexibility to learn and work within several different wiring functions/stations
