Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an on-site Electrical Wiring Operator to install wiring for unit hookups, select components for the control box, and wire the box completely. The role requires testing with specified equipment and diagnosing deficiencies found during testing.

The position focuses on wiring units of various sizes and configurations, using BOM diagrams as a guide, and building functional control panels with tested reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work alone or with others.

Responsibilities

• Prep unit components.
• Assemble units.
• Assemble control panels using wiring schematics.
• Complete wiring of units including fans, control panel, sensors.
• Program and perform electrical tests using test equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• 6 to 12 months are required to achieve job knowledge and wire circuits for all unit sizes and configurations.

Position Description

This position requires operator to install electrical wiring of the unit hookups using wiring diagram listed on BOM as a guide. Operator must also select components for the control box and wire control box complete. Operator must be able to test unit using specified test equipment and have ability to identify and correct any deficiencies that show up in the testing phase.
