Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Grenada, MS is seeking a skilled Wiring Tech to join our production team building high-quality electrical control panels for data center chillers. You will assemble, wire, and test panels according to schematics and engineering specifications.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read diagrams, use hand and power tools, and work in a fast-paced environment; shift Mon-Thur 3:00 PM–1:30 AM with mandatory overtime Friday and Saturday.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of panel wiring or electrical assembly experience.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and work instructions to assemble control panels.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation (breakers, relays, power supplies, PLCs).
• Route wiring neatly and ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels.
• Troubleshoot wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
• Collaborate with engineers and assembly teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Position Description

We are seeking askilledWiring Techto join our manufacturing team in building high-quality chillers for data centers. This positionis responsible forassembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panelsaccording to schematics, diagrams, and engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical wiring, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift: Mon-Thur 3:00PM-1:30AM Mandatory Overtime Friday & Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to assemble control panels.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation, including circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, and PLC's.
• Route and secure wiring neatly to ensure proper function and compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before final installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and assembly teams to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols and company standards.

Required Education & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a related field.
• Knowledge of pressure testing procedures, leak detection methods, and chiller systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices for electrical work.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and efficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC wiring and troubleshooting preferred, but not required.
