Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, NE, a unit of Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., is seeking a Wirewound Utility Operator for 2nd Shift. The role involves supporting multiple operations and following precise specifications to produce Vishay resistors and related products.

You will rotate through printing, coating, tinning and other tasks, with overtime possible. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and 3 months to 1 year of machinery experience, plus the ability to lift up to 20

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months to 1 year of experience operating machinery.
• Ability to interpret specifications accurately.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Fill in at several operations as needed due to workload, vacations, or sick leave, including printing, coating, and tinning.
• Receive order from material handler and ensure print stamp is correct and parts printed per spec.
• Coat order on appropriate coater as directed by the spec.
• Tin and wash parts per appropriate specifications.
• Complete and sign necessary paperwork.
• Clean machines and work area as necessary.
