Job summary

Prysmian Group in the United States is seeking a Wireway Associate to operate production areas and fabricate sheet metal wireway parts per drawings and instructions. You will set up machines, inspect first piece and final products, and maintain a clean workspace.

Qualifications include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, using hand tools and pneumatic screw guns, and following safety guidelines. Experience with SAP is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate in a safe manner
• Read and understand operations manuals
• Read and understand process instructions and drawings
• Set up each machine and perform first piece inspections
• Perform quality inspections of work
• Operate fabrication equipment (shears, punches, brakes, spot welder, roll former)
• Use measuring instruments (tape measures, micrometers)
• Assemble parts
• Operate forklift
• Repetitively lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Use SAP to enter production and check material availability
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
