Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Wireway Associate to operate in one or more production areas to produce sheet metal wireway parts according to drawings and work instructions.

You will set up machines, perform first piece inspections, conduct quality checks, operate fabrication equipment, and use SAP to manage production and material availability.

This on-site role requires safety-minded teamwork, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods
• Proficient in using small hand tools and pneumatic screw guns
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the department
• Ability to read and understand operation manuals and drawings

Responsibilities

• Operate in a safe manner.
• Read and understand operations manuals.
• Read and understand process instructions and drawings.
• Set up each machine and perform first piece inspections.
• Perform quality inspections of work.
• Operate shears, punch presses, press brakes, spot welder, roll former, and other fabrication equipment.
• Use SAP to enter production and check material availability.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor.
