Premier Automation is seeking a Wireman to join our Alpharetta, GA production team, where you will assemble and wire industrial control panels, motor control systems, and automation equipment in a dedicated manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for recent graduates of an Electrical Technology or trade program, as well as early-career electricians or panel builders looking to grow their skills in a structured, hands‑on automation setting.

Work Experience & Culture
- Position Type: Full‑time, hourly role with overtime eligibility
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Location & Work Environment: Alpharetta, GA, working in a clean, organized, temperature‑controlled production facility
- Team & Reporting: Reports to the Production Manager and works closely with shop leadership and fellow wiremen

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire industrial electrical control panels and enclosures
- Build motor control circuits, including contactors, overloads, starters, and related components
- Layout and organize enclosures, back panels, and subpanels according to electrical drawings
- Mount and secure electrical devices and wiring hardware
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material
- Apply proper wiring methods, terminations, labeling, and voltage separation practices
- Verify components and assemblies for accuracy and compliance with drawings
- Troubleshoot wiring and component issues during build and checkout
- Use basic computer systems for labeling, documentation, and production tracking
- Maintain clean, organized work areas while following safety and quality standards
Experience and Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Electrical Technology, Industrial Electricity, or a related trade program preferred
- Experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or similar industrial electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (entry‑level candidates should have classroom exposure)
- Familiarity with motor control components, starters, relays, and basic industrial devices
- Strong troubleshooting ability related to wiring and component installation
- Comfortable using hand and power tools in a production environment
- Basic computer skills for labeling and documentation
- High attention to detail and commitment to clean, high‑quality workmanship
- Team‑oriented with clear communication skills in a production setting
- Self‑starter who can stay busy, take initiative, and contribute to team productivity
- Dependable and consistent in attendance, quality, and work ethic
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and remain active (standing, bending, reaching) throughout an 8‑hour shift
- Frequent use of hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity and the ability to work in tight or enclosed spaces
