Job summary

PremierTech Systems and Automation seeks an experienced electrical technician for our Montgomery, AL facility. You will review schematics, install sensors and wiring, and troubleshoot I/O systems to ensure smooth operation.

The role requires reading electrical and pneumatic schematics, wiring motors, and applying conduits, with 5S housekeeping upheld in daily duties. Join a team delivering high-value automation solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree in mechatronics or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years of industrial or commercial electrician experience.
• Ability to read internal and external electrical schematics.
• Ability to read pneumatic schematics.
• Forklift operation capability.
• Proficient with hand tools and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review schematics and customer specifications.
• Print validation and redlining.
• Troubleshooting and I/O validation.
• Install photoeyes, proximity sensors, light curtains, etc.
• Wire motors, electrical and pneumatic devices.
• Apply conduit and trough to machines.
• Route wires and cables through conduit and trough.
• Use electrical and mechanical hand tools as needed.
• Build and wire remote consoles.
• Maintain 5S in the department.

Your future role
