Job summary

SLB in Houma, LA, seeks a Gun Loader to ensure timely delivery of equipment and reliable asset utilization within the Maintenance Base network. You will load tubing-conveyed perforating guns or wireline guns and maintain strict CMMS records to control costs and downtime.

The role requires 5 years of gun loading experience, the ability to obtain an explosives license and Level 4 clearance, and legal rights to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience loading Tubing conveyed perforating guns or Wireline guns.
• Must be able to obtain explosives license and Level 4 clearance.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned equipment according to the maintenance program and CMMS records.
• Load guns according to design and maintain inventory reconciliation.
• Adhere to CMMS for materials, labor costs, and maintenance history.
• Follow Technology Lifecycle Management standards and participate in improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to reducing asset downtime and improving CoSD within the MB network.
• Participate in failure investigations and ensure training is up to date.
