Job summary

Granite Construction seeks a Field Geophysics Technician to operate and maintain downhole geophysical logging equipment, perform deviation surveys, and present high-quality data to a diverse client base in mining and construction projects.

You will collaborate with project teams, troubleshoot instruments, ensure data accuracy, and promote borehole services while representing Granite at client and safety meetings.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with downhole geophysical logging equipment
• Experience with downhole deviation surveys and data processing tools preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to field sites
• CDL license – Class A or B is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Operate, deploy and maintain downhole geophysical logging equipment
• Conduct deviation surveys and process data for accuracy
• Present processed data clearly for clients and internal teams
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure on-time completion
• Promote borehole services and manage field safety and costs
