Job summary

Ranger Energy Services, LLC seeks a Wireline Engineer II to ensure safe, high-quality wireline operations at well sites in Colorado. You will apply process and safety procedures to tools, equipment, and personnel while coordinating with clients and crews.

The role requires strong communication, independent work, and hands-on expertise with wireline technologies, data acquisition, and incident reporting. CDL with HazMat and ATF background check are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or Geoscience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience supervising wireline well site operations.
• Must pass comprehensive ATF background check.
• Valid CDL with Hazardous Materials Endorsement.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Working knowledge of Warrior operating system.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Knowledge of wireline technologies including pressure control, perforating components, data acquisition systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience in incident investigation and reporting; strong independent work and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare well site operations ensuring safety compliance.
• Supervise and conduct well site operations per client criteria and policies.
• Calibrate and prepare surface equipment and downhole tools; assist crew.
• Maintain current standards and procedures to optimize efficiency.
• Maintain customer relationships through quality service and confident execution.
• Communicate with client representatives for operations, including preparation, execution and data archiving.
• Provide detailed information for reporting, incidents, and non-productive time.
• Submit accurate site operation documents for billing and data delivery.
• Operate company vehicles per policies and regulations; manage equipment logistics and DOT logs.
• Support continuous improvement of HSE and Quality initiatives; supervise training and performance reviews.
