Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Wireline Field Crew Lead to oversee wellsite and shop operations, supervise junior operators, and ensure successful logging and completions services.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering and 1+ year of Wireline experience, or a two-year Technical Associate Degree with 3+ years of Wireline experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of Wireline experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a two-person field crew and coordinate operations with the rig and/or production facility.
• Oversee and assign training, competencies, verify and approve time sheets, expenses, DOT files, onboarding, off-boarding, interviewing, promotions, terminations, and performance reviews for direct reports.
• Work directly with Customer Representative and drill crew on location to coordinate operations with the rig and/or production facility.
• Provide record of all assemblies as run to the Customer Representative at the wellsite.
• Advise Customer Representative in logging and completions operations, interpreting logging data, troubleshooting, and wellsite decision-making processes.
• Manage crew and equipment at the wellsite and at the shop to provide specific logging and completions services.
• Be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and facility.
• Maintain records and communications as required by the District Service Delivery Manager/Coordinator.
• Assist with the training of assigned personnel in completions operations and maintenance.

As a Wireline Crew Lead, you will be fully competent in all aspects of engineer duties at the well site and at the shop, can maintain the unit and perform all pre-job duties, well-site operations and post-job duties, supervise as well as training of junior operators.

As a Field Crew Lead you will be responsible for:

• Understanding broad direction, determines and develops resolution to an assortment of problems encountered at the wellsite of moderately complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
• Managing a team of two or more Field Operators.
• Overseeing and assigning training, competencies, verify and approve time sheets, expenses, DOT files, on-boarding, off-boarding, interviewing, promotions, terminations, and performance reviews for direct reports.
• Working directly with Customer Representative and drill crew on location to coordinate operations with the rig and or production facility.
• Providing record of all assemblies as run to the Customer Representative at the wellsite.
• Advising Customer Representative in the logging and completions operations, interpreting logging data, troubleshooting, and other wellsite analysis and decision-making processes.
• Managing crew and equipment at the wellsite and at the shop to provide specific logging and completions services.
• Being responsible for the maintenance of equipment and facility.
• Maintaining records and communications as required by the District Service Delivery Manager/Coordinator.
• Assisting with the training of assigned personnel incompletions operations and maintenance. Promotes and maintains good customer relations.
• Performing all required responsibilities safely and as described in Managing Base Operations, Managing Well Operations, and Managing Equipment and Logistics manuals.

• Have University Degree in Engineering and 1 + year of Wireline experience OR two (2) year Technical Associates Degree and 3+ years of Wireline experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 7+ years of Wireline experience
