Thayer Power & Communication Line Construction Co., LLC is seeking skilled Tower Technicians to support our Michigan-based wireless division. The role emphasizes safety-first practices, climbing to elevated heights, and collaborating with foremen to complete tower modifications and installations.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on tower experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a willingness to travel. The position requires lifting, long hours, and strict adherence to company safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a tower climber.
• Ability to work at heights on rooftops or towers upwards of 300 feet or taller.
• Background and Pre-Employment Drug screen is required and participation in random testing policy.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Safety Policies and Practices.
• Maintain safety, 100% tie off, proper rigging and JHAs.
• Safely modify, repair, and upgrade wireless equipment and antennas at height.
• Assist with tower construction activities including assembling towers and mounting hardware.
• Read customer blueprints/CDs and execute scope of work per specifications.
• Identify materials and resources needed for the project.
