Job description

Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. (Columbia, MD) is seeking a Wireless Test Engineer responsible for working closely with engineering teams to design and develop test cases, test tools, and test environments with a specific focus on automation for the R&S mobile communications wires test platform.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop test cases, test tools, and test environments.
2. Focus on automation for the R&S mobile communications wires test platform.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. 3 years' experience in the job offered or any related occupation.
3. 3 years’ experience with LTE and 5G NR 3GPP standard knowledge and correlation to practical tests.
4. 3 years’ experience working with wireless testing and measurement instrumentation.
5. 3 years’ experience with Electromagnetic Compatibility fundamentals related to radiated device testing and analysis.

Remote work from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted. Position requires travel 15% of the time on domestic and international trips lasting 1-2 weeks in duration. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training. Experience may have been gained concurrently.
