Job summary

Apple's Wireless Software team in the Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems (WTE) organization is seeking a software engineer to develop advanced telemetry and diagnostics frameworks aimed at analytics for wireless products.

You will work across L1/PHY layers with cross-functional hardware and software teams to deliver robust telemetry, performance analytics and anomaly mitigation, assisting in monitoring modem behavior and improving user experiences across Apple devices.

Qualifications

• B.S or M.S in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong object-oriented programming experience in C++, Objective-C or Swift.
• Experience with ML fundamentals and Generative AI workflows for model training, deployment and evaluation.
• Familiarity with iOS ML frameworks such as Foundation Models, Core ML.

Responsibilities

• Develop telemetry and diagnostics frameworks to drive analytics for wireless products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams across L1/PHY layers.
• Identify and develop core wireless technologies to improve user experiences across Apple devices.
• Support system validation and anomaly mitigation for wireless solutions.
