Job summary

Apple Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Wireless Analytics & Intelligence Software Engineer to develop telemetry and diagnostics frameworks for wireless products.

You will enable analytics, diagnostics, product experiments, and anomaly detection across the wireless stack for upgrades to iPhone, wearables, and other devices. Join a team working across L1/PHY and modem related software, collaborating with hardware and software colleagues to deliver robust solutions and validate them

Qualifications

• B.S or M.S in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong ML fundamentals and ML model deployment experience
• Experience with Generative AI workflows for ML training and evaluation

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Machine Learning models on-device using Core AI for Wireless Connectivity and Voice Call features.
• Design and develop Analytics module running on-device that aggregates information across the Wireless Technology software stack.
• Design Wireless telemetry probes on device for performance monitoring and anomaly identification.
• Build scalable telemetry and data mining algorithms for anomaly and trend detection.
• Develop on-device and crowd-sourced learning frameworks to improve Wireless product experience.
• Use product experimentation and A/B testing frameworks to validate ML model deployments.
