Job summary

Heightstower in Ohio is seeking a civil foreman to lead a small crew through tower and telecom cabinet work, installing, maintaining, and upgrading telecom cabinets and shelters. You will interact with customers and subcontractors, review crew work, and report progress to the construction manager.

The role requires outdoor work in all weather, extensive market-area travel, and training/guidance to develop crew members while ensuring safety and quality on every job.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience with AC and DC systems, schematics and materials.
• Experience wiring cabinets, panels, meter bases, and battery installations.
• Willingness to perform tower construction duties in outdoor environments and travel within the market.

Responsibilities

• Train crew on all positions and provide development opportunities.
• Manage jobs within schedule and budget; ensure safety and quality.
• Track material use, manage inventory, and document equipment maintenance.
• Install/test DC/AC power circuits, fiber jumpers, and ethernet cables.
• Label and color code equipment per carrier requirements; perform grounding and terminations.
• Assist on all site tasks including groundwork for customer specs; read drawings and specs.
• Read drawings and mounting specs; conduct site layouts, foundations, trusses, fencing, and roads.
• Safely lift up to 75 pounds and operate truck/trailer as needed.
• Communicate clearly, complete required paperwork, and pass pre-employment checks.
