Job summary

Victra, the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States, seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead a store team, drive sales, and deliver an outstanding in-store experience.

You will coach associates, manage daily operations, and ensure customer satisfaction while achieving targets. This role requires leadership, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to daily store performance.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service within the retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals
• Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment
• Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team

Responsibilities

• Select, hire, and develop the best talent for your store — helping bring in the best talent is as much your job as developing the team you already have
• Providing your team with training and mentoring to deliver an outstanding customer experience by handling customer flow and store traffic
• Identifying selling skill gaps, then building and implementing development plans to help the team meet and exceed sales metrics and quota assignments
• Own the store’s daily sales strategy alongside the General Manager: translate weekly/monthly goals into a clear plan for each shift
• Lead by example on the sales floor, using your product expertise and confidence to influence how your team shows up for every guest
