Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Wireless Software Engineer to contribute to Starlink, a global satellite broadband network. You will design and implement firmware-level software, work on MAC/physical layers, and help bring up hardware while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure reliable, scalable communication across the world.

Responsibilities include developing signal processing algorithms, testing, and optimizing performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM, or 2+ years of C/C++ software experience.
• Experience working with wireless software or network protocols.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communications and RF systems fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain the wireless software stack for Starlink hardware.
• Architect current and next-gen Starlink hardware and signal processing algorithms.
• Participate in hardware bring-up, debugging, verification and launch.
• Collaborate with cross-team to integrate end-to-end system components.
• Develop prototypes to validate key design concepts and quantify constraints.
